Please ensure you are adhering to the weight limit for the roof bars and roof box. There should be a sticker inside the lid advising the limit, which will typically be 50, 60, or 75kgs. In the absence of a sticker, then the limit will be 50kgs.
Please ensure you are using the correct key for the relevant lock – if in doubt, double-check the serial number on the key and lock to ensure they match.
If you cannot remove a key, then it’s likely the lock has not engaged correctly – this is a safety feature. Open and close the cover/latch again or apply some downward pressure.
Don’t be alarmed if your vehicle is now making a whistling noise – this is normal with roof bars, roof box, cycle carriers, etc. on the roof.
Depending on your type of vehicle and the length of the roof box hired, it may overhang the front and/or rear of the vehicle. Please be careful when opening your boot in case it touches the base of the roof box.
